Cookie policy
Last updated:
This is a translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
This page describes the trackers and third-party calls on each of our
surfaces. The public www.hairtechpro.ai website is covered by sections 1 to
3; the Lia and HairTechPro mobile apps and the salon management back
office, which do not follow the same rules, are covered by sections 4 and 5.
Full details of the processing are in the privacy
policy.
1. This site sets no cookies
The site sets no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no social network trackers, and uses no statistics tool. There is no session cookie either: the site is entirely static, with no account, no basket and no personal area.
Fonts are served from our own domain rather than from a third-party service, so no request to a third party is made when a page loads.
2. The only third-party request: the newsletter
The newsletter sign-up form at the foot of the page sends your email address to Brevo (Sendinblue SAS), our email delivery provider, at the moment you press “Send”.
This request happens only if you submit the form. It does not happen when you simply browse a page. It relies on your consent, which you give by submitting the form and can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every message.
3. Why there is no cookie banner
Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act requires consent to be collected before any information is read from or written to a user’s device, except for strictly necessary trackers. As the site performs no such operation, no consent is required and no banner is shown.
Should trackers be added in the future, this page would be updated and a consent mechanism put in place before anything is stored.
4. The Lia and HairTechPro mobile apps
Neither the Lia client app nor the HairTechPro professional app contains an advertising SDK or a behavioural analytics SDK, and neither uses an advertising identifier.
Both use technical identifiers necessary for them to work:
- a push notification token, specific to the installation, used to send you appointment reminders; it is deleted when you turn notifications off or delete your account;
- a session token stored on the device to keep you signed in;
- technical crash reports, used to diagnose errors in the app.
The HairTechPro professional app additionally asks for access to the device’s position, used only to show where you are on the itinerary map, in the foreground, with no recording and no transmission.
These are detailed in the privacy policy.
5. The salon management back office
The web back office, reserved for salons and HairTechPro’s teams, is not subject to the same constraints as the public website: it is an authenticated working tool. There is no advertising and no marketing analytics, but it does make two third-party calls its users should know about.
- Google Fonts. Fonts are loaded at runtime from
fonts.googleapis.comandfonts.gstatic.com, which transmits the browser’s IP address to Google. Unlike the public website, they are not self-hosted. - Session recording (Sentry). For technical diagnostics, 10% of production sessions are recorded as on-screen interactions, in addition to error reports. That recording can include the content displayed during the session.
A session cookie is also required to keep you authenticated: it is strictly necessary for the tool to work.
6. Your settings
You can configure your browser at any time to block or delete cookies, and your mobile operating system to turn off the app’s notifications. The site remains fully functional with cookies disabled.
