An engineer by training, Johan Aubert spent more than 30 years in research and innovation at L’Oréal, where science, technology and beauty meet. A pioneer of AI and tech applications in beauty, he helped develop diagnostic and personalization technologies used worldwide.
Now an entrepreneur, he pursues a conviction he has always held: technology only has value when it serves people. AI should augment professionals’ expertise, intuition and know-how, never replace them.
That vision led him to found HairTechPro: putting the power of technology and artificial intelligence to work for independent hairstylists, to help them understand their clients better, personalize their care and make every appointment a richer, more precise and more human experience.
